Undergrads Support Black Lives Matter
Many of us at Delta Delta have been moved by the recent anti-racism movement in our country. As Sigma Chi’s, we take pride in living our values daily. We believe that these values separate and elevate us as leaders of men.
Supporting Social Justice
To show support for the social justice movement that has engaged our country, a group of Delta Delta undergraduate brothers have put together a fundraiser supporting the Black Visions Collective (an organization chosen by our black brothers).
In just 24 hours Delta Delta raised nearly $2500. Through a Microsoft matching fund each dollar contributed will be matched up to $15,000. As a chapter, we have set an ambitious goal of raising the full $15,000 so we can donate $30,000 to Black Visions Collective (BLVC).
Sigma Chi is the first Greek organization at Purdue to actively fundraise in support of the fight against racism. Our hope is that other fraternities and sororities will follow our example. One sorority, Alpha Chi Omega, has already begun their own campaign.
For more information and how to contribute to this cause please contact David Kratzman ’21 at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your support would mean the world to us.
May we ever strive so that the White Cross of Sigma Chi gains new luster by our lives.
