Jim, throughout his career, has lent his expertise, time and financial resources to Delta Delta and the General Fraternity.  Jim’s knowledge of building construction, facility design, food service and property management have guided a number of projects at Delta.  Jim was actively involved in the 1988 and 2004 renovation campaigns. In 2004 Jim was the catalyst of the complete restoration and remodeling of the Delta Delta chapter house which was a $7.4 million undertaking.  Upon the completion of the renovation phase, Jim stayed involved in raising more funds to establish a long term maintenance fund.

Jim has remained engaged with the General Fraternity by attending Grand Chapter and BLTW as a Distinguished Alumnus.  Jim is a Significant Sig, a member of the Sigma Chi Hall of Fame and Founders Circle.  In 2015 Delta Delta honored Jim with the first Ben Taylor Award for his lifetime contributions to Delta Delta and Sigma Chi.
