2020 Krach TLW Goes Viral

Krach Transformational Leaders WorkshopAccording to Consul David Kratzman this summer’s Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop was of great value to the Delta Delta brothers who took part.  Because of the COVID pandemic, Sigma Chi Fraternity hosted the annual Krach Transformational Leaders Workshop virtually for under-graduate brothers across the country from July 25 to August 6.

The workshop’s objects are to hone leadership skills and offer critical officer training. The workshop featured cutting-edge curriculum that included two weeks of online activities, virtual meetings and live presentations and events.

Chapter Officers Gain From Experience

Delta Delta had seven undergraduates participate in the workshop:  David Kratzman ‘21 (Consul), Eli Hedrick ‘22 (Pro Consul), Sam Spears ‘23 (Risk Manager), John Hokanson ‘21 (Magister), Matt Jaros ‘23 (Kustos), Cray Cordero ‘22 (Recruitment Chair), and Owen Sackmaster ‘21 (Quaestor). Over a two week period, members completed four courses that included videos, discussions, quizzes and zoom meetings in place of the normal in-person workshop held in Bowling Green, OH.

“Although it was not the same as years before, we were still able to network with Sigs across the country and discuss ideas and ways that other chapters run, and share things that have, or have not, worked for other chapters. We were extremely grateful that Sigma Chi still put on the workshop virtually, and we gained vital tools and resources to help us succeed in the 2020-2021 school year,” stated Consul David Kratzman.
