Class of 2027 Joins Ranks of Sigma Chi
Introducing the Class of 2027
Twenty new brothers entered the ranks of Sigma Chi on October 21 in a flawless performance of the ritual investiture. These young men completed the 5-week pledge program led by Magister Nick George. Nick followed the structured Preparation for Brotherhood program strictly in accordance with the expectations of the international fraternity. This program stresses the understanding of the values and core beliefs of the Fraternity, Sigma Chi’s founding, and how to incorporate these values into each brother’s own actions.
Flawless Enactment
As part of the Chapter Enhancement program Delta Delta was required to have its ritual proceedings certified by a Ritual Master from the International Fraternity. With the help of Regional Chapter Support Coordinator Chris Hicks, the chapter received guidance on the official way to conduct initiation. The Ritual team regularly met this semester, honing their parts, and taking advantage of the advice they received. Grand Praetor Dan Brown, who attended the investiture, remarked that he has yet to see such a well conducted and flawless initiation ceremony.
