Delta Delta Luncheon Has Valentine’s Day Aura
The annual Southwest Florida Delta Delta Luncheon had a special Valentine’s Day aura this year as 32 Sigs and their Sweethearts enjoyed a wonderful meal and time visiting with brothers of all eras.

Sigs from all eras enjoyed the warm weather and hospitality of Eric Morgan at the annual Delta Delta SW Florida luncheon.
Another Exceptional Event
The luncheon was held on Friday, February 14th, at the Club at the Strand in Naples, Florida, and hosted by Eric Morgan ’95 and his exceptional staff. This event took place the day after the John Purdue Club Mollenkopf golf outing which is attended by a large number of Sigma Chis. Seeing these brothers adds to the fun for those attending the luncheon.

Phil Steele ’77 presents some of Delta Delta’s most interesting stories.
150th Celebration Update and Book Preview
At the luncheon Jeff McKean ’86 spoke about the plans for the 150th Anniversary Celebration on June 12 – 15. Activities include pledge class gatherings, a banquet, golf outing, tours of campus and the athletic facilities, and events at the chapter house. The excitement continues to build for this historic event with over 500 brothers expected to return to 202 Littleton.
Phil Steele ’77, along with Ralph Bline ’71, has been compiling a 150-year history of our chapter that will be published later this spring. Those at the luncheon got a chance to hear from Phil about some of the intriguing and entertaining stories that he and Ralph have uncovered. As they say, “We can’t wait for the book.”
With Bernie Sergesketter ’58 leading the way, the luncheon concluded with a rousing rendition of “My Name is Sigma Chi Sir”, as many of the brothers headed for the golf course.

L-R: Brian Griffiths ’95, Kevin Jacobson ’95, Eric Morgan ’95 and Craig Johnson ’95 celebrate their win with Purdue Pete.
